The Spirit of Christ…the pure, clear consciousness, without content
”That was the true light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” [John 1:9]
What is this that ”illumines every person” and the ”True Light” that lighteth every person? This ”True Light” doesn’t just mean your conscience or that Jesus was a ”good example” for us. Illumines means that the Spirit of Christ illuminates us with His consciousness, His awareness, His Spirit. It is the ability to be aware, conscious, sentient. That is, the pure, clear consciousness without content.
Actually He is (!!!) our bare, empty consciousness without thought. The largely unnoticed miracle of all miracles! Once recognized it is obvious and can never be forgotten, ”whereby we cry ‘Abba Father.” [Romans 8:15] Others may disagree with you because they are seeing dualistically. But once one has clearly seen and recognized this it is undeniable.
